What sizes do you offer?
We offer size XXS (AU4) - 4XL (AU20). We do not offer custom sizing.
Are your pieces true to size?
Yes! All of our sizing is true to our size chart! Please check your measurements against the chart if you are unsure what size to order. Our sizing reflects standard Australian women's sizing.
Can I return my item if it doesn’t fit?
Unfortunately we do not offer this service as all of our items are handmade to order - meaning we made the outfit just for you, we don’t keep stock on hand! Be sure to choose your size carefully. If you are unsure about sizing - refer to the size chart.
Are the clothes stretchy?
They sure are! All of our designs are made of spandex which makes them very comfortable & stretchy.
How can I get in touch?
Please reach out via email (email@example.com)! We are always very busy working on your beautiful outfits, but rest assured we will get back to you as soon as possible during business hours.
Can you make my top/skirt/etc longer or shorter?
Definitely! Just request your desired length in the order notes on the cart page.
I like X fabric, but I want it in a different style, is that possible?
Most definitely! We can use any of our prints to create any of the existing styles we offer. For example, if you'd like flares made in the Yazmin print, order any full price pair of flares (they are all the same price & style) & in the order notes on the cart page write that you'd like it made in the black/white Yazmin fabric.
Can you copy this design from a picture?
Unfortunately not! We will not copy another brands design or exclusive print.
Can I mix & match prints?
You sure can! For example, we can do a different print on each pant leg or we can do two different prints on one of our reversible top styles. Contact us to discuss your ideas!
When will my order be shipped?
Every single order is handmade at The Volt, which means that unfortunately your order will not be shipped instantly! Our processing time fluctuates during busy periods. Please allow approximately 1 week for your order to be made before it is shipped. If you are unsure about whether or not we will be able to make an outfit for you before your event date, please contact us via Instagram DM or email to discuss! If it has been less than 2 weeks & your item hasn’t been shipped, please do not contact us to check on the status of your order. It is either still in the queue or complete - and once it’s complete you will receive a shipping notification via email! :-)
How long does shipping take?
Domestic express shipping - approx 2-3 days
Domestic standard shipping - approx 1 week
International standard shipping - approx 2 weeks
International express shipping - approx 1 week
We send all parcels via the Australia Post network.

Why hasn’t my parcel arrived yet?
Once we have handed your parcel over to Australia Post, we have no further information on the status of the parcel. We can only see the same online tracking updates as you. If you have any queries about the status or location of your parcel once it has been dispatched, please contact Australia Post with your tracking number. We cannot do this for you & cannot provide any further information. We are not liable for lost or stolen parcels.
What happens if my parcel gets stolen or lost in the mail?
Unfortunately we are not liable for any issues with AusPost (including shipping delays & lost parcels) & this must be taken up with them. We cannot contact them on your behalf.
I got a notification from AusPost saying that my parcel is being prepared X amount of days ago, but I haven't received it yet. What does this mean?
All this means is that your postage label has been generated. It does not mean that your parcel has been shipped yet. As everything is handmade to order there is a lead time for production. Once your garment has been completed, then you will receive an email from us confirming your tracking number & letting you know your parcel has been despatched! From that point onwards, you will be able to see tracking updates from AusPost.
I’ve changed my mind, can I return my item?
Unfortunately not. This is because we hand make everything to order - just for you! Please choose carefully before ordering. All sales are final.
My item is faulty, what can I do?
If you receive your item & it is faulty, you are eligible for your choice of an exchange, repair or refund. Please contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any issues.
Do you offer gift cards?
We sure do! You can click here to view them. They are available from $25-$1000. Please contact us via email if you would like an amount that is not on offer & we will arrange it for you.
What are my payment options?
We offer credit card, PayPal & AfterPay at checkout!
Where is The Volt made?
All of our pieces are handmade in Australia! We are a very small team currently based in Brisbane.
How do I wash/dry my pieces?
We recommend cold hand washing & air drying only for ALL pieces from our website.
Can you make menswear?
At the moment we only offer womens styles. We hope to expand in the future!
Do you do collaborations/would you like to collab?
We are not currently looking for brand ambassadors or to do any collaborations! If anything changes, we will reach out to you! :-) There is no need to message us.
